Erin played 4 years of high school (Mammoth High School) volleyball and 4 years of college volleyball at St. Mary's College. Erin played every front row position at some time. She has coached Club volleyball and High School volleyball in the Bay Area, Mammoth and other areas prior to having a family.
Kathi is a Mammoth High School alumni who played 3 years for MHS Volleyball. She then played at California Lutheran University as a member of the JV Volleyball Team for 2 years, predominately as a middle blocker and outside hitter. She has learned various setting techniques and strategies from high school coaches, volleyball camps at UCSD, and completing spring training with CLU Varsity team (who just won the DIII National Championship).
Sara stared playing volleyball in 4th grade at Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School in San Diego. Her mom, Kathy Richardson, started Coast Volleyball Club (San Diego) in 1990 which was the start of her club career, she had the opportunity to play in and place well in multiple Junior Olympics. As a freshman at Santa Fe Christian HS she was team captain of the varsity team. She played on the Torrey Pines HS varsity team (San Diego Division 1) her Sophomore & Junior year. She played at Menlo College. She has played in every position but have the most knowledge in setting. She have been trained by Olympic athletes such as Mary Jo Peppler & Karolyn Kirby and have had amazing coaches such as Jackie Mendez & Dede Bodnar. She had the opportunity to coach the Mammoth Junior High B Team this year.
Kylie is a Mammoth High School alumni who played 4 years of volleyball as a setter for both JV and Varsity teams. She started playing volleyball in the 4th grade at Mammoth Elementary. Kylie attended volleyball camp at UCSD as well as Long Beach State for 3 years. She coached the Mammoth Middle School development team for MCV in 2016 and 2017. She was the head coach for the Mammoth Middle School team for the 2017-2018 school year. She is passionate about volleyball and is excited to be coaching the girls who are just as passionate about the sport as she is!
MCV strives to provide the opportunity, to any interested youth in our community, to develop new volleyball skills, practice old skills, be a part of a group, and stay active. The Skill Development groups are also open to Travel Team players that want extra touches on the ball.
