Mammoth Club Volleyball is the premier league for volleyball enthusiasts in the Mammoth Lakes, California area. We offer competition teams that participate in an organized schedule of tournament play. We compete as part of The Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA), a non-profit (501c3) organization affiliated with USA Volleyball - the national governing body for amateur volleyball. We also offer a development team for younger players based on interest and coach availability. 

 Registration for the 2024-2025 Season is now open! 

We are planning to offer both travel and development options for 6th-8th graders. For high school players, participation will be tournament-only (no development option). Travel teams will be selected based on tryouts, and only players assigned to travel teams will attend tournaments. The number of tournaments will be decided by the coaches, based on player interest and availability. You can view the full SCVA season schedule here. 

Fees:

• Development/practice players: $150 for the full season (plus SCVA/USAV registration).
• Travel team players: $250 initial registration deposit. Additional fees will be determined once teams are formed, and the number of tournaments is set by the coaches. You will be expected to pay another installment of $250 shortly after the season begins, and the remaining balance will be invoiced toward the end of the season. Players must provide their own travel and accommodations for tournaments. 

Uniform Deposit for Travel Players:

• We are extremely excited to be partnering with ASICS this season for our uniforms and other gear. Unlike in the past, we will be distributing uniforms at the beginning of the season and collecting them at the end of the season. In order to ensure that ALL uniforms are returned, we will be collecting a $50 uniform deposit. This check will ONLY be deposited if your uniform is NOT returned. Deposit checks will be collected when uniforms are distributed. 

Scholarships:

The Town of Mammoth Lakes Parks and Recreation Department offers full or partial scholarships through The Tony Colasardo Scholarship Fund. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please visit: Tony Colasardo Scholarship Fund | Mammoth Lakes, CA - Official Website.

 Important Dates:

• Once your player is registered as a travel player, you will receive an email with more specific tryout information. 
• Development players will begin practices in January. Practice schedules will be determined by coach and practice space availability. 

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED PRIOR TO TRYOUTS. Your player absolutely WILL NOT be allowed to tryout until their registration is complete and their SCVA/USAV membership is current. This is for insurance liability and will be strictly enforced. If you are having trouble with your registration, please speak with one of the MCV board members.
